Wendy Petro
Executive Director

Wendy Petro, Executive Director of The Manor at York Town is responsible for overseeing the operations of Bucks County’s finest independent living community. Wendy began her career at The Manor at York Town as Project Coordinator in 2000 just as construction began. Upon completion of construction in 2001, Wendy was promoted to Business Office Manager.

Owing to her leadership abilities, strong financial background, and knowledge of the community, Wendy was named Executive Director of The Manor at York Town in 2006.

Wendy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a minor in economics from the University of Delaware.

Courtney Gawthrop
Director of Sales and Marketing

Courtney Gawthrop is the Director of Sales and Marketing for The Manor at York Town. She joined Liberty Lutheran and The Manor at York Town in November 2017.

With over 20 years of experience in senior living, Courtney has a myriad of skills bridging social services, independent living, and marketing. She holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in social welfare from Bloomsburg University and a Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania.

Robyn Fine
Director of Community Life

As the Director of Community Life, Robyn brings a wealth of experience to The Manor at York Town. She prides herself on creating innovative programs that inspire and motivate our residents. These programs Mensa, Socrates Café, Ted Talks, and more.

As a proud world traveler, Robyn has visited more than 40 countries. This includes backpacking through Europe, as well as visits to India, Morocco, and the Middle East. She enjoys incorporating her experiences with foreign cultures within the activities she manages. Robyn earned her undergraduate degree from American University and an MBA from Drexel University.

Steve Betts
Director of Dining Services

With more than 40 years of culinary experience, and 14 in senior living, Chef Steve Betts, The Manor at York Town’s Director of Dining Services, seeks to raise the bar every day to deliver healthy and delicious menu choices for residents.

After spending time studying cuisine in Tuscany, Steve took to heart what it means to deliver heartfelt meals, and is excited to be a part of The Manor’s team. Residents share their thoughts and ideas with him, and together they create wonderful dining experiences.

John Miller
Fitness Director

With more than 30 years of experience as a fitness trainer, there are few things that John Miller isn’t familiar with when it comes to improving health and wellness. Having been with The Manor at York Town for the past 14 years, John’s expertise is just one of the reasons why our residents live active and vibrant lifestyles.

With a personal interest and continued focus on physiology, he is constantly staying up-to-date with the latest health and exercise information. In 2001, John graduated from the National Personal Training Institute. He holds several certifications from the YMCA, including as a personal trainer and nutrition consultant, leading water exercises, and working with children with disabilities.

As with everything, John’s number one priority is exercise safety. He is always ready to perform a personal fitness evaluation and design a customized program that meets each resident’s needs and abilities, whether it’s daily exercise or his specialty, post-rehab programs.
