Resident of The Manor at York Town, Lonnie, says that from the very first day she saw The Manor, she knew this was a community that she could call home. Prior to moving to The Manor in the spring of 2021, Lonnie was living in a 55+ community in local Bucks County. “I really didn’t want the stress of owning a home anymore. Especially now that I live alone, that’s just not something I want to worry about,” she says.

Desiring a stress-free lifestyle, Lonnie heard high regards about The Manor from her previous neighbors who moved to the community last year. “My neighbor kept talking about how happy he was at The Manor and how much he enjoyed living there,” she describes. “I learned more about the community from Director of Sales and Marketing, Courtney. She was wonderful. I took a tour and as soon as I pulled up to the parking lot, it was lovely. It’s like the setting of an upper-class hotel. I liked it very much,” Lonnie reflects.

For Lonnie, her apartment’s views and its spacious layout made an even greater impression. “My apartment has a beautiful view of the courtyard and the park nearby. And the size of the apartment is perfect. There’s a very spacious living area and kitchen and the bathroom is large as well. I just really liked the whole set up,” she says. “And my children liked it as well,” Lonnie adds.

With beautiful scenery and a spacious, luxury apartment, Lonnie’s decision was made easy. Upon moving to The Manor, Lonnie also utilized the community’s real estate partners, Brian Quigley and Mindy Haggerty of Keller Williams Real Estate. “Brian and Mindy were so helpful in selling my home. They made it all very easy and I highly recommend them,” she affirms.

As Lonnie gets to know her friendly neighbors at The Manor, she enjoys the various amenities the community has to offer. With five-star dining, a beautiful courtyard that hosts numerous outdoor activities and events, and the many attractions of local Bucks County nearby, Lonnie says The Manor is the perfect place to live.

“I also really like that The Manor is not too large. Some of the other retirement communities I looked at were so big and overwhelming. The Manor is just what I was looking for,” she reflects. Lonnie also says that The Manor’s caring team members make this community a warm and welcoming home.
